Elizabeth’s Theater Study

This summer I will be traveling abroad to London, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and Edinburgh using a Fujita Grant I received through the Dean Rusk Program and Alumni David Barnard. I will see over 15 Shakespearean plays and 10 musicals as well as going on theater tours.

    • It is going well. I’ve mostly figured out how to get around. It’s just tough because street signs are so terrible here. There really is no settling in though. I am in a room with a slanted ceiling and I only have a small bit of space for my things so it’s a bit messy there.

  1. Happy to hear that you are finding your way around London. By the way, what is an oyster card and where or what is the globe that you were looking for? Hope that your day went well today. love hearing from you.

  2. I would have never guessed what the oyster card was for. Now the globe is a lot easier if I had just used my brain and thought about why you are in London and Shakespeare. DUH my bad. Oh well. How did today go for you? I tried to get a few more flowers into the ground but it rained most of the morning and got very muggy this afternoon. Did manage to plant a few. Could use some help. Wanna play in the dirt with me? I have extra garden gloves! Just kidding. You have a great job already. Hoping to hear from you soon. Love you.

  3. Sorry to hear that you have a small place, and the street sighs being so terrible. Do you have any PROs and CONs (different ones lol). I do hope things are getting easier and your enjoying yourself :-).
